In this update learn about our Fountain Restoration Project, upgrades to the Memorial Niches, the works on our road network and the benefits of becoming a member of our team.

Fountain Restoration Project

Our fountain restoration project is progressing nicely with many local Beechworth project contractors being engaged. We look forward to this project starting soon.

Memorial Niches

Our Memorial Niches have recently received a spruce up and as a very reasonable priced option for internments. Our free-standing walls contain small individual spaces for the ashes and sometimes personal keepsakes are placed into the niche, with an identifying bronze plaque the deceased is placed on the outside.

Cemetery Road Network & Drains

Work on the general cemetery road network and drains has commenced, with all currently being tidied up and receiving a much needed upgrade from local contractors. These much needed works have been made possible through a DHS Grant.

Have you ever considered being a Cemetery Trust member?

The Beechworth Cemetery Trust are looking for fellow volunteers to join their team. We are a diverse group that bring a range of skills to our roles and are wondering if other like minded persons would also like to consider the opportunity. Our organisation values the opportunity to gain new skills with free governance training and a range of portfolios to engage in the management of one of Victoria’s most notable Cemeteries.
